Are your eggs safe to ship in the summer heat?Updated 3 months ago
We understand there may be some concerns about shipping our eggs in the summer heat, but you can rest assured that we ship eggs successfully in the summer each year. Majority of the shipping process takes place in temperature-controlled units and in the shade. The only time there is an issue is if there is a shipping delay, or an unusually hot week, but we keep tabs on the weather and will delay any shipments as necessary in the event there are exceedingly hot temperatures. We just ask that you plan to be home on the delivery day so you can bring the eggs into a cooler environment promptly and then transfer them to the refrigerator.
