Why are my eggs so clean if they are truly farm-fresh?Updated 3 months ago

The eggs we provide are largely very clean due to the diligent cleaning and maintenance of the nest boxes in our coops. However, our hens have a tendency to lay eggs in random spots around the farm, which can result in the occasional dirty egg. For the most part, the eggs you receive will arrive in a very clean state, but they have not been washed. The cleanliness is a result of our careful coop management rather than any additional washing or cleaning on our end.
